The easiest way to log on is via the Onboard Unit (OBU). Users who register with Toll Collect can order one of these onboard units and use this to automatically log on to the toll system – however, you still have the option of manual log-on variants via the Internet or at a toll-station terminal.

Logging-on is quick and convenient with an On-Board Unit. Before starting a journey, the driver simply verifies the information in the display. Everything else is handled automatically by the OBU. using GPS satellite signals and other positioning sensors, it detects the sections of the route already driven, calculates the toll charges and transfers the data via mobile radio communication to Toll Collect for invoicing.
Is the onboard unit expensive?
No. The user pays only for installation. The OBU itself is provided free of charge by Toll Collect. All further information on automatic log-on, including how to obtain an onboard unit, can be found
