Toll changes 2023 and 2024

Since 1 July 2024, vehicles with a technically permissible maximum laden mass of more than 3.5 tonnes are subject to tolls.

For craftsperson vehicles, a journey-related exemption from the toll obligation applies for vehicles over 3.5 and less than 7.5 tonnes.

From 1 December 2023, the Technically Permissible Maximum Laden Mass (TPMLM) will be decisive for assignment to a weight class.

From 1 January 2024, trucks with CNG/LNG drives will be subject to tolls. Zero-emission vehicles will remain exempt from tolls until 30 June 2031.
