T&Cs changed

Berlin,

The use of the Toll Collect GmbH operated toll system is regulated in the area of toll collection by the general standard terms and conditions of Toll Collect GmbH. These terms and conditions must be regularly adapted in line with the latest legal situation. As a result, we are changing our general standard terms and conditions with effect from 28 March 2025.

You can access the new terms and conditions here . We can also send them to you on request.

Why are we changing our T&Cs?

The legislator amended the German Federal Trunk Road Toll Act (BFStrMG) with effect from 1 December 2023. Pursuant to Section 5 (1) BFStrMG, the facts relevant to toll collection must also be proven to Toll Collect GmbH.

This results in the following changes to the T&Cs:

A new provision in Section 22 of the T&Cs regulates the proof of facts relevant for toll collection when registering new vehicles or when changing vehicle data. At the same time, the regulations for blocking on-board units were changed. In accordance with Section 35.1 of the T&Cs, an on-board unit may also be blocked if the customer fails to fulfil the obligation to provide proof in a timely manner.

The Federal Logistics and Mobility Office has approved the changes.

The new general standard terms and conditions are deemed to have been approved by you if you do not object in writing within six weeks. If you have agreed on an electronic means of communication (e.g. email) with us, then you may object via the agreed electronic means of communication. Punctually posting or sending the objection is sufficient to comply with the deadline.

If you have any questions, our Customer Service is available from Monday to Friday from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm.
